Acknowledge setbacks as part of the process: Show that mistakes are valuable. If a strategy fails, you can reflect together on what new insights were gained from the experience.

Delegate responsibility: Involve your child in complex family plans. This could be planning an itinerary for a vacation or calculating the budget for a larger purchase.
