Variations and Tips
Vegetable Variation: Instead of sausages, you can wrap the dough around pre cooked carrot sticks or zucchini wedges. This adds extra color and vitamins to the snack.
Storage: The rolls keep in the fridge for up to two days. They also freeze exceptionally well and can be quickly reheated in the oven when needed.
For the Whole Family: Adults often enjoy sprinkling a little grated cheese or sesame seeds over their portion before baking for extra flavor.
Dough Tip: If the dough feels too sticky while kneading, simply add another small spoonful of flour.
